Dalat city
On arrival check in hotel and refresh before starting
sight-seeing around the Xuan Huong lake and strolling though the Dalat Botanical
Park - a beautiful collection of flowers, orchids and plants native to the area.
Continue to the Old French Cremaillere railway station, the oldest and probably
the nicest railway station of Indochina. Afterwards, visit Bao Dai’s Summer
Palace where the last Emperor of Viet Nam - Bao Dai stayed and ruled his country
from 1949 to 1954. Finish the day by visiting Hang Nga’s “Crazy House”- a
seemingly fairy tale castle – tree house with unexpected twists and turns, roofs

Da Lat – trekking to Langbiang mountain
Morning departure by van to the base of Langbiang Mountain,
the highest peak from Dalat to the South of Vietnam. Trek from the base 1.450m
(4.850f) to the summit 2.169m (7.000f). Pass vegetable farm, woods and rain
forest. Enjoy the commanding view of the highlands. On a clear day, you can even
get a view of the South China Sea from here. Afterwards, visit Lat village where
you will meet the indigenous people of Dalat with their rich culture and visit
their long houses. Return to Dalat in the late afternoon for dinner and
overnight. (B)

Dalat biking: Lat village - Valley of Love
After breakfast, take the first 14 km paved road biking to Lat
Village. Stroll in the village of the indigenous people of Dalat, visit Lat’s
traditional long houses, farming tools, musical instruments etc., admire the
talent of Lat women in their weaving work shop.
Afterwards, start the 3 hours of real off road biking through
rolling hills with farm land and forest, heading for Valley of Love. Cycle
through Valley of Love and bike the last 6 km paved road back to Dalat. (B)

Dalat biking: Elephant waterfall – Chicken village – Tuyen Lam
lake and Truc Lam Monastery
Drive to Nguyen Huu Hao Tomb and start biking on the quiet
paved road through scenic vegetable and flower farms, forests and villages on
the way. Arrive at Elephant Waterfall, one of the most impressive Waterfalls of
the highlands, which roaring just like thunder! Visit the near by Linh An Pagoda
decorated with giant Statues. After lunch by the Waterfall, drive to the Chicken
Village, then visit Tuyen Lam lake and Truc Lam Buddhist Zen Monastery. Return
to Dalat in the late afternoon. (B,L)

hour by plane).

After breakfast, Enjoy the fresh air and the lovely scenery of
mountains, pine forests, lakes and waterfalls. We visit Dambri Water Falls and
take a short hike through the trails in the jungle. Afternoon visit to tea &
coffee plantations, and especially the endless farms of fruits and vegetables

Day 1: Arrive Buon Me Thuot
Drive from Nha Trang to Buon Ma Thuot (200km, 4-5 hours) with
several breaks on the road for first hand views of pine forests, rubber and
coffee plantations. Buon Ma Thuot is the biggest city in the Central Highlands
with unique culture of ethnic minorities such as Ede, M’nong, Gia Rai... Upon
arrival, start exploring Buon Ma Thuot city and market where you can have an
excellent opportunity to enjoy the best cups of coffee in Vietnam. Dinner and
overnight in Buon Ma Thuot – Dam San hotel. (L,D)
Day 2: Buon Ma Thuot
After breakfast, depart for the Don Village which is native
land of wild eleph ant catchers and tamers whose fame was one echoed throughout
the region. An elephant ride will take you to the seven-level waterfall, hamlets
of M’nong and Ede minorities and their long houses, and the Tomb of elephant
hunter’s King. After a picnic lunch, transfer to the expansive waterfalls of
Draysap, a national historical site and beautiful secery on Serepok river.
In the evening, enjoy the Gongs music performance of the
central Highland (Cong chieng) – a UNESCO Immaterial Heritage. Overnight in Buon

Day 3: Buon Ma Thuot - Dalat
Early start for a drive to the Lak Lake to explore Jun &
M’lieng village and observe local daily activities. We will have a chance to row
a local dug–out boat and drink the local brew "ruou can". After lunch drive to
Dalat city.
Originally the playground of the French who built villas in
the clear mountain air to escape the heat and humidity of the coast and of
Saigon, Dalat is a wonderful piece of land where guests could think of the
French Alps in favorable weather all the year round to escape from hustle life
and work. Accommodation in Novotel Dalat Hotel. (B,L)
Day 4: Dalat
